E-mobility in Indonesia: Strategic Framework and Capacity needs

We implemented a basic digital literacy skills development programme in Argentina aimed at improving foundational digital competencies among target beneficiary groups.

The programme focused on equipping participants with essential skills such as basic computer use, internet navigation, digital communication, and safe online practices. Training was delivered through practical, hands-on sessions designed to ensure accessibility and real-world application.

The outcome was improved digital confidence, increased access to online services, and enhanced employability and inclusion in an increasingly digital economy.

We supported the development of a Strategic Framework and Capacity needs for E-mobility in Indonesia, providing a guide to the country’s transition toward electric mobility. The project focused on defining policy directions, infrastructure requirements, and ecosystem enablers needed to scale up EV adoption in a sustainable and coordinated manner.

A key part of our work involved assessing capacity gaps across the e-mobility value chain, including institutional readiness, workforce skills, charging infrastructure, and supply chain development. Based on this, we proposed targeted interventions such as regulatory enhancements, skills development programs, and investment priorities to strengthen the overall ecosystem.

The outcome is a practical roadmap that supports government and stakeholders in accelerating sustainable transport, reducing emissions, and building a resilient EV industry in Indonesia.
